Use Your Own Boat
Our large parking lot and three lane launch ramp is accessible at any level of tide and is capable of handling a large number of boats without making a long hike back to your vehicle a necessity at the end of the day.
NEW RAMP PROGRAM
$200 Annual Unlimited Use, $90 10 Launch Punchcard or $10 per daily use. Check in at the Marina Office.
We have a full service Marina capable of handling boats up to 50 feet and offer annual, monthly and daily moorage at reasonable rates. All moorage slips have electricity and water available, and we have a fuel dock located onsite. Our well stocked tackle and bait shop offers a selection of proven lures and prices comparable with any shop in the region.
Boat Rentals
No boat? No problem! Pedder Bay has a fleet of 20 well equipped fishing machines available for rent. Test your skills and head out on the water for a fun day with friends and family reeling in the big ones! A boating license is not required to rent a boat in British Columbia.
Guided Fishing Charters
Rather let someone else do the driving and take advantage of the knowledge and experience of a local professional angler? We can recommend guided charter boats and captains that are all Transport Canada certified, and provide the expertise of some of the best anglers with the best equipment in the area.

What Can You Catch?
Salmon fishing is available 12 months of the year, please check regulations for retention. Chinook, Sockeye, Coho, Pink and Chum and all be caught in the waters surrounding Pedder Bay.
Bottom fish and halibut are also abound in the feed rich waters just minutes from our docks. The average run to our most productive halibut grounds is under 20 minutes, and we are not affected by open ocean swells. The halibut fishery must be experienced to be appreciated; it’s undoubtedly one of the best kept secrets on Southern Vancouver Island.
Other bottom fish such as flounder, ling and rock cod are also abundant in the area and available in sheltered waters within Pedder Bay. Crabs and shrimp are common in the area as well, and can be trapped in shallow water less than 5 minutes from the dock.
